~First Church History~
The
church history book has been completed!!! There is also a DVD available
containing historical footage of past church events and music, as well as a clip
of a presentation honoring church pastors. Contact the church secretary,
Casey Colley, at (409) 883-3813 to order a copy. Special pricing for a
combination book and DVD purchase is $60.
The project was coordinated with Mr. David Bice of Heritage Publishing Consultants, Inc.
History committee members are Casey Colley, Dana Willis, Melissa Yelverton,
Darlene Williams, Tommye Lou Pierce, and Rebekah Foster
First Church has a long history in the city of Orange. While the location and pastorship has changed a few times, the church moved to its current location in 1976, while Rev. W.E. Gamblin was the pastor.
